something pretty

I have been trying to make some felt flowers for a couple of weeks now. Actually I have made a few, but none that I really love.
The best one so far is pictured below.

I must admit- its not at all how it looked in my mind. I feel like I am missing something.
I just joined a drawing and painting class- maybe I can use some of those skills I should acquire in class in my sewing.

new adventure

hi (tentatively)
this is my first venture into the cyberspace.

I'm hoping to use this as a journal and a collection of projects and inspirations.
If anyone finds it of interest- great. Otherwise it's all mine.
